Twist

The Twist collection has a playful look and is a further development of our classic Ball vase series. The wave forms give a soft and interesting expression and create beautiful shadow play between the undulating forms. The elegant series is designed by Danish Tim Torp Hansen from Five Seven.

The Gry glass collection consists of vases and lanterns in transparent or colored glass. The inspiration for the design comes from the trunks of trees. Starting from the ground, you can see the beginning of the roots at the bottom and a more rounded, tree-like shape higher up. The vases and their irregular surfaces are elegant sculptures that elevate the flowers and water placed inside and plays with daylight as it hits the vases’ structured surface and colour. The candle holder takes the light from the wick and turns it into a beautiful pattern spread across the surface on which it stands. Gry, which means dawn in Danish, has different word associations, as it is also a play with the word “gro” which means “to grow”. The elegant series is designed by Danish Tim Torp Hansen from Five Seven.

Following the success of our wooden Bird Woody we decided to expand our collaboration with Swedish designer Eddie Gustafsson. The new collection, named after the bird, contains mirrors, small tables, hooks and a log holder, all of which are made in FSC-certified wood. Just like our other products, the Woody collection holds a very high standard of materials and finish. The idea behind the collection was to create furniture with the same feeling of modern elegance that you find in the rest of Cooee’s range. Eddie Gustavsson wanted to explore how the merging of different shapes creates character, feeling and function. He has deliberately created a collection with a lot of personality, where each product can be described as playfully elegant. The Woody collection is available in oiled or black stained oak.
